Joanita Benedicta Monteiro

I’m Joanita better known as Jo by my family, friends, loved ones and most people here in Canada. I am a Legal Assistant by profession ever since my family and myself came to Canada 8 years ago through the Canorient in 2017. I was a banker by profession back home and have a total of 30+ years of experience as an Administrative / Executive Assistant.

I am happily married to my better half Raphael, we have 3 wonderful kids Jemimah, Rafael and Michael, I am a dedicated wife and a responsible mother. I love to travel and enjoy having extremely spicy food.

With that all being said, I am an active member of the CWL here in Canada and love doing community work and helping our community, back home in Karachi Pakistan myself along with my husband we did a lot of community service for our church (St. Patrick’s Cathedral) helped in organizing lots of events (sports, dance, talent shows, prayer meetings, live stations etc.) just to name a few, I was/am always passionate of giving back to our community. Now I would like to help the community out here in Canada as well and what other way to go about helping our own community then by joining the Canorient Committee.
